Variable Rate Technology
Variable rate technology is designed to put your fertilizer and seed in the right amounts and in the right areas of your field. Pro Ag uses data such as satellite imagery and combine yield data to develop management zones within each field. Each zone is then managed to optimize placement of products in that area of the field. Pro Ag carries many different kinds of fertilizer to feed your growing crops. Our 4 fertilizer plants (Brandon, Parkers Prairie, Clarissa & Henning) offer fast blending and load out. The Brandon, Parkers Prairie and Clarissa locations offer chemical impregnation for your preplant chemicals or fertilizer additives. We carry several different liquid fertilizers such as 28%, 10-34-0, 9-18-9 with options to get others if needed. The granular fertilizers we carry are Urea, Super U, DAP, Potash, AMS, K-Mag, MAP + Sulfur as well as several micro-nutrients.
We also carry bagged lawn & garden fertilizers, including phosphate free fertilizers for use on lakeshore property.

Your local Pro Ag agronomist can put together a plan to help you get the right tank-mix to target specific pests at the right time to ensure that you do not loose yield to these pests. We have access to bulk as well as packeged chemical, and our Brandon location has a state of the art chemical impregnation system for those who want to put the chemical on with the fertilizer. Our sprayers are equipped with the latest technology to control sprayer section shutoff, auto boom height controls, autosteer, and on-board spray work order reporting.
